Marsha's Mother's Day Challenge WCC23

Another Watercooler Challenge!

Don't forget to stop by the Watercooler Challenges site to see what the other artists created for this flowers and Mother's Day inspiration challenge, and, of course, upload your card.

"Call your mother. Tell her you love her.
Remember, you're the only person who knows
what her heart sounds like from the inside."
 by Rachel Wolchin

Here is Marsha's wonderful flower photo:

I got intrigued by a video showing a spinner card by Dawn.  If it doesn't show up on your screen, here is the direct link: Dawn's Spinner Video.

.

I did make a pinwheel spinner card creating a pinwheel from a square piece of dsp and cutting out slits on all four corners (because I do not have the die). Then, I made another card for the flower challenge, substituting a flower for the pinwheel from the set, Flower Shop.  Have you ever watched flowers spin in the wind? I have. It is a very relaxing, take time for yourself pastime. I hope you have the chance to do this on Mother's Day. Either with your mother, or just in a quiet moment with yourself.

Here it is my card:

stamps: flower shop, teeny, tiny wishes, flower patch
paper: garden green, strawberry slush, whisper white
ink: strawberry slush, crushed curry, garden green, pink pirouette
accessories/tools: spring flowers e.f., word window punch, two pennies
